Staff were very polite. Lovely place. Much prefer this location to upper town.
Rooms designer-chic in the way that everything is quite dark and you can't even find your stuff on the floor (pretty poor lighting). When our air co didn't work for two days, couldn't be fixed on weekend (maintenance staff off). Hotel full, so moved to lesser room the next day. Amused that as compensation we were provided two miniscule jars of jam. A bit odd. Really, jam?

The room is modern and nicely decorated, with complimentary drinks and a fantastic bathroom; conveniently located, just a 15-minute walk to Fairmont le Chateau Frontenac.

Very comfortable bed. We had a deluxe room but there was only one armchair and a desk chair, so watch tv on the bed (no problem). There was a problem with certain movie channels. The concierge were very friendly and helpful. The staff were very friendly. If the weather is good (which we were lucky with) it is very nice to be able to have breakfast outside in a very nice setting. Somehow the hotel did not have our booking. We booked almost two months ahead. However, they upgraded us from a King Room to a Deluxe. It was a bit iffy as to whether we could have the room for the 3 nights, but immediately the Manager was informed, it was no problem.

The continental breakfast was plentiful with outstanding croissant, thoroughly enjoyed it. The hotel had an absolutely perfect and magnificent location next door to Fairmont le Chateau Frontenac...
Views appeared to be dull.

Lovely hotel. Great location - quiet neighborhood and easy walk to Vieux Quebec. Spacious room and comfortable bed. Breakfast was delicious. Croissants were to die for. Would definitely return and certainly recommend.
One day the elevator was broken and the walk up eight flights was a challenge!

Everything about the hotel was outstanding. The service was fantastic. The front desk staff was always friendly and helpful with recommendations and reservations. Our room was lovely and comfortable. The breakfast was good. We liked the space, indoors and out to sit and eat, and the newspapers provided every morning. We also enjoyed the availability of coffee and tea and all hours.
Tourists from South Africa often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
